Daniel Taub: Diplomatic Ambassador

Daniel Taub is an Ambassador and an Israeli diplomat who currently holds the position of the Director of Strategy and Planning of the Yad Hanadiv foundation. The Yad Hanadiv foundation, also known as The Rothschild Foundation, is located in Israel and focuses on five key aspects. They are Education, Environment, Academic Excellence, Civil Society, and the Arab Community.
Taub was born and raised in Great Britain. He received his higher education From various universities. The first being at the University College in Oxford, and then The University College in London and lastly, Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
Shortly after he completed his education, he moved to Israel. He went on to pursue a career in the military as a medic along with a reserve officer in Israel’s international law division. Since 1991 Taub has held many legal and diplomatic positions. From there, he decided to become the Israeli Ambassador to the United Kingdom. Along with holding this position, he is also a well known international lawyer. He has written a few diplomatic articles for some newspapers such as The Times, the Guardian, the Huffington Post and a few others. He has also written a diplomatic book that focuses on insights of biblical readings. In this book, he shows his broad range of humor, knowledge of politics and his overall view of the world. Daniel Taub is also the creator and scriptwriter of HeChatzer, an extremely popular drama series in Israel.
In 2015, the great Daniel Taub announced that he would be resigning. It was a Friday in June when he made the United Kingdom aware of this news. Although Taub has only held this position for a mere four years, but his impact was very strong. He formed and strengthened relations between Israel and the United Kingdom. Some of the things he was able to accomplish were higher trade between the two, a higher focus towards academics, and strengthen business and cultural values between the two countries. All in all, Daniel Taub has been able to make his mark in the world, and will forever be a role model not only to individuals but to countries as a whole. He has set a standard for the character of future ambassadors.
