Dr. Saad Saad’s Illustrious medical Career.

Dr. Saad Saad has been a pediatric surgeon for over four decades. Over that vast period, he has participated in complex sure. Surgeries on children all ages and from all walks of life. Dr. Saad can be compared to a modern-day superhero for his efforts in the medical profession. Saad attended a high school in Kuwait where at the time he thought he wanted to follow his family legacy and become an engineer. Funnily enough, the adverse weather conditions of Kuwait helped him change his mind in a bid to pursue a career that based itself indoors. That was the sole purpose of choosing to become a surgeon where he not only could work indoors but, in an air, conditioned environment. Dr. Saad graduated with his Medical degree almost five decades ago at the Cairo University in Egypt. He graduated with honors emerging second best in his class. In 1964 Dr. Saad says that he spent the best $99 of his life by purchasing an airline ticket to Beirut to sit for his ECFMG exam which would in time enable him to study in the U.S. Saad did his internship in England and then moved to the United States to set up his practice.

Dr. Saad has held various positions in American hospitals including being the Surgeon-in -Chief and the Medical Director at the Hovnanian Children Hospital at Hackensack Meridian Health care System in New Jersey. He has practiced in an outside the country always striving to improve on the methods and techniques he uses in surgery to benefit his young clientele. In 1980, Saad and his whole family moved back to the middle east where he had been hired to be the personal on call pediatrician for the Saudi Royal Family. He was given this post for his unique nature. He was the only board certified in the U.S that is fluent in both Arabic and English. When Dr. Saad spent his time in Riyadh as the royal doctor he got the royal treatment. Although he was purposefully required to look after the royal family, Dr. Saad worked at the local hospital providing care to the lowly patients whom he considered equal. He was efficient in carrying out his duties that patients opted to be treated by him rather than fly out-country for medical procedures. Dr. Saad was the pioneer to the program that would see to it that Saudi medical students would receive improved training in the U.K. Dr. Saad Saad eventually moved back to New Jersey to stay with his family.
